About SC, ST, OBC and Minority 2026-27

Scholarships for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, minority and divyang students, given by the central and state departments. The income limit and the share of marks needed are different for each scheme and are written in the notice.

One thing to remember: The caste or the minority certificate must be valid and, in most cases, of the same state where you study. An old or a wrong certificate is the commonest reason for a rejected form.

Sarkari Scholarship 2026-27: All Scholarships and Last Dates in One List

Every year thousands of students lose a scholarship they were eligible for, only because they came to know about it a day after the last date. The money is there, but the information is spread over many portals, notices and school boards. This page keeps every scholarship posted on SarkariResult10th in one list, newest first, covering central and state schemes, school and college level, and private foundations. Each title opens a post with the eligibility, the documents, the last date and the link to the official portal.

Use the boxes near the top to narrow the list. The type boxes (pre matric, post matric, girls, SC ST OBC and minority, merit and so on) help when you know your class and category, the department boxes help when you follow one ministry, and the state boxes show the schemes of your own state. Where we have saved the last date, it shows next to the title, and it changes to Closed once the date is over.

How to Apply for a Scholarship

  1. Open the post of the scholarship and read who can apply. Look at the class or course, the category, the family income limit, the minimum marks and the state of domicile.
  2. Collect the documents before you open the form. A certificate made in a hurry on the last day is how most mistakes happen.
  3. Register on the official portal with your mobile number and email id. Use the same name, date of birth and father's name as in your marksheet, because the portal matches them.
  4. Fill the form, upload the scanned papers in the size and format the portal asks for, and check every field once more before you submit.
  5. Take a printout or a PDF of the final form and keep the application id. If the notice says that the form has to be verified by the school, the college or a district office, submit the printout there before their date, which is often earlier than the portal date.
  6. Check the status from time to time. If the form is returned for a correction, fix it within the days given.

Documents Usually Needed

  • Aadhaar card of the student, and a bank account in the student's own name that is linked with Aadhaar. Most portals pay through direct bank transfer.
  • Marksheet of the last exam passed, and the admission slip or the bonafide certificate of the current year.
  • Fee receipt of the current year, where the scheme pays or refunds the fee.
  • Income certificate of the family, and caste or minority certificate where the scheme is for a category.
  • Domicile or residence certificate of the state, if it is a state scheme.
  • Passport size photo and signature, and for some schemes a disability certificate or a parent's service papers.

Why Scholarship Forms Get Rejected

  • The name or the date of birth in the form does not match the marksheet or the Aadhaar.
  • The bank account is not linked with Aadhaar, or is in the name of a parent, or is closed.
  • The income or the caste certificate is old, unsigned, or of another state.
  • The form was submitted on the portal but never verified by the school or the college.
  • The student has applied for two schemes that cannot be taken together. Most schemes do not allow a double benefit for the same course.
  • The last date was missed. Portals close on time, and a request after that is hardly ever accepted.

Renewal Every Year

A scholarship that runs for a full course is not automatic. In most schemes you have to fill a renewal form every year, with the new marksheet and the new fee receipt, and if the portal asks, with a pass certificate of the last class. Students who forget the renewal lose that year's money, and in some schemes the whole scholarship. Keep an eye on the renewal posts of this page, and look at the Renewal, Correction and Notices box once the new session starts.

Fake Scholarship Messages

Every year, messages go around promising a "guaranteed scholarship" for a registration fee, or asking for a student's OTP, Aadhaar and bank details on a link. Government scholarships on the national and state portals are free to apply for. No officer or agent can get a scholarship approved for money, and no real scholarship asks for your OTP or your bank password. Open only the link given on the official site, and be careful of sites that look alike. Nobody connected with SarkariResult10th will ask you for money for a scholarship.

Common Questions

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?

It depends on the schemes. Many government schemes do not allow two scholarships for the same course, and the portal can cancel both if it finds the duplicate. A government scholarship and a private foundation scholarship can often be taken together, but the foundation's rules should be read once.

Is there an income limit?

For most government scholarships, yes. The limit is different for each scheme and it is written in the notice. Merit and talent scholarships, and many private ones, have no income limit or a higher one.

How long does it take for the money to come?

There is no fixed time. After the form is verified at all levels and approved, the money goes to the bank account. It can take a few weeks, and in some cases a few months. Check the status page, and if it is stuck at a verification stage, meet that office.

My form was rejected. What can I do?

Read the reason given in the status. If it is a correction like a wrong document, many portals reopen the form for a few days. If the date is over, write to the helpdesk of the portal, with your application id and a proper reason. There is no sure result, so the best way is to avoid the mistake in the first place.

Do you charge anything for scholarship information?

No. Reading the posts is free and we do not take money for scholarships, forms or results.
