Valent is a consulting company in financial management. We consist of experienced consultants with backgrounds in roles such as CEO, CFO, controller, accountant, and consultant as well as newly graduated economists.

We have customers in the private and public sectors and have offices in Oslo and Bergen. Together with about 80 specialists in Karabin, Sans, and Impello, we challenge the established and create value where others cannot.

Who are we looking for

 The position is suitable for master’s graduate economists with 1-3 years of relevant work experience. We are looking for outgoing, trustworthy and inspiring personalities with high integrity combined with solid professional interests. You have a strong interest in one or more of the following:

• Improvement/efficiency of the finance function
• Financial management (management for hire)
• Internal control and risk management
• Scrutiny
• Sustainability reporting
• Mapping and improvement work
• Profit realization
• Digitization and improvement of financial processes

You have the following skills and characteristics:

• Education at master’s level, with good academic results
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Has good teamwork skills and is a team player
• Communicates well orally and in writing in Norwegian and English
• Are analytically minded and want to solve problems in a structured way
