Job Details

Supervise the good HSE Practice of a team carrying out the painting/coating maintenance and scaffolding erection and dismantling. Organize sites so that work is carried out to the required standard with minimum risk to personnel, equipment, and materials.

Duties performed:

•  Ensure that the IMS is established and maintained at the workplace and follow the Company’s yearly IMS Plan.
• Check that all machinery including power and hand tools are maintained and in good condition.
• Ensure that all hazardous materials or substances are properly marked and stored to enable adequate precautions to be taken.
• Set a good example including the wearing of protective clothing and equipment and preparing daily HSE reports.
• Monitor Company’s IMS Policy and
• Performs risk assessments.
• Advice and assist line management in meeting their IMS responsibilities.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of safe systems at work.
• Recommend suitable PPE and check compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Update line management on new legislation and investigate, report, and record injury and damage accidents.
• Be involved in guidance and preparation of safety instruction, training, and exercise.
• Attend and take meetings with clients’ safety department.
• Perform HSE induction training for newcomers and perform emergency planning and preparedness.

Minimum requirement:

• Has an engineering degree in Health Safety & Environment or equivalent
• Has worked on several projects offshore and onshore in petrochemical projects for at least three years
• Has undergone HSE training in minimum basic first aid, fire fighting, Handling of hazardous materials, Risk assessment, Incident investigation, etc…
• Computer Literate
