Job Description
Supervises the daily production of Photovoltaic modules in accordance with required quality standards and in a cost-efficient manner.
Basic Job Functions:

Experience:
Two(2) years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment or Solar Team Lead experience
Education:
2 years of Business or Technical degree or equivalent work experience

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards, including our 5S system
- Directly supervises the daily production of Photovoltaic modules in accordance with required quality standards and in a cost-efficient manner..
- Conducts on-the-job training of all employees.
- Identify training opportunities to develop and maintain a highly motivated and capable team.
- Responsible and accountable to train, develop, coach, monitor, and motivate associate & team performance in CIP (commitment, Integrity & Patience) manner.
- Maintain all associate records in Workday
- Effective use of internal application software for production tracking Manage timekeeping in Kronos of all associates.
- Experience and working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and TOC.
- Maintains proper inventory levels of BOM materials and WIPInterfaces with other departments.
- The ideal candidate should have the ability to think outside the box and develop unique and timely solutions
- Support teammates in their efforts to consistently exceed customer expectations
Work in concert with Production Coordinator/Operation Integrator on day-to-day issues - Analyze and monitor production performance besides ensuring tool cycle times are meeting as per POR
- Responsible to identify downtime constraints in an assigned area (eg: participating in root cause analysis, hand on during troubleshooting the issue, leveraging support teams to improve quality and productivity).
- Monitor and maintain training guides and track the training progress of the team.
Participate in continuous improvement projects
Additional Information:
Up to 10% of global travel is expected
Physical Requirements:
- Will sit or stand for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Will walk and climb stairs.
- Will reach over shoulder heights and below the waist.
- Required to use hands to lift, handle, carry or feel.
- May be required to kneel, bend, talk and hear.
- Specific vision abilities are required.
- All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair).
