Your new role
Your new role as the People & Culture Advisor will be to provide all-around guidance, support, coaching, and advice across all facets of the employee lifecycle from recruitment, induction, and onboarding.
You will also be working closely with managers across the organization coaching and advising in key areas relating to performance, capability, and engagement strategies.
Other duties will include:
- Provide coaching and assistance to managers in performance management and employee relations
- Participating in and carrying out the implementation of the annual remuneration review process and performance review process
- Input into the people strategy and its implementation
- Support the implementation of the learning and development strategy, provide input on key talent and help identify value-add learning opportunities
- Managing end-to-end recruitment
- Champion organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Monitor & analyze key people metrics, including employee turnover, workforce demographics, and survey results, and prepare reports as required.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to support the implementation of a well-being strategy to complement the existing WHS framework
- Fortnightly payroll reporting and auditing with support from the HR Administrator
- Undertake administration related to cyclical people activities such as engagement surveys, performance reviews, compliance training,
- Administrative duties including preparation of employment contracts and changes to contracts, onboarding, offboarding, induction, and maintaining employee files
- Maintain P&C policies to ensure relevant updates are reflected and they are compliant
What you’ll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a relevant qualification in HR and knowledge of generalist HR practices. You will be up to date with current employment legislation and have experience with performance management, employee engagement, talent management, and workforce planning.
You will feel confident with negotiating and influencing stakeholders to achieve and support strategic outcomes. You’ll be able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously.
