Job Description

We are recruiting for a Student Counsellor to join the Student Hub team at the Angel Campus, City and Islington College. You will promote and monitor a professional Counselling Service for students and staff.

You will take responsibility for delivering Counselling and will be expected to advise College management on policies and strategic issues relating to student welfare that may impact student retention and achievement.

You will work with other members of the Student Services teams, welfare, Mental Health and teaching staff to advertise the service and ensure that information is reaching all students/Staff across the organisation.

About you

You will have a relevant degree and a professional counselling qualification. You must be accredited with BACP or UKCP at the point of application.

We cannot shortlist those without accreditation, including those working towards it. You will have experience working with teenagers and young adults.
