• Troubleshoot and repair diesel generator engines. Repair and maintain diesel generators.

• Repair and replace defective parts as corrective Maintenance. Process Knowledge and Perform Overhaul on Various Diesel Engines.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance.
• Document and record Work Order status.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Foreign National
• A local driver’s license is a plus but not required

Education/Experience:

• A college degree is preferred, and a high school diploma is required or equivalent. Five years experience as a diesel engine mechanic.

Program Specific Requirements:

• Able to use Electrical and Mechanical Test Equipment.
• Able to communicate with customers. Able to Speak And Read English
• Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues as they relate to Generator Management.
• In this position, there is exposure to physical and working conditions where serious accidents or injuries may occur, exposure to disagreeable noise elements, and prolonged high ambient temperatures.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 35-45 lbs.
