Job Description
Baker Hughes Stord is the Baker Hughes Center of Excellence of IWOCS systems, where the location assists the group with first-class equipment for the purpose of good completion. Baker Hughes Stord also supports production and testing equipment related to the oil and gas operations in and outside Baker Hughes.

In this role, you will utilize your expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself and others, and have the ability to effect short-term/long-term business goals. You will be working with the IWOCS team mainly as part of an experienced team of engineers who will closely collaborate and support tasks for different product groups in the department.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles
- Documenting technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Providing timely communications on significant issues or developments
- Participating in teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
- Participating as a presenter in technical and program reviews
- Writing of documents/procedures/drawings; Equipment Functional Design Specification; Equipment Design Requirement List; Equipment Data Sheet; Electrical Single Line Diagram; Electrical Wiring diagram; Cabinet Layouts
- Participating in EFATs and SITs
- Identifying variation in the Scope of Work and reporting improvement potential

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Diploma (Technical School) in Electrical Engineering OR significant relevant experience
- Have knowledge of drawing electrical schematics
- Have knowledge of electrical component selection
- Have experience with EPLAN / Autocad Electrical or similar electric schematic design tool
- Have knowledge of Ex (ATEX) certification and associated calculations
- Have a basic understanding of electronics, sensor technology, and mechanics
- Have good language and communication skills in English
