Description:
Memfys hospital is looking for a qualified Radiographer to join our team to provide quality radiographic examinations in order to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Requirements:
- Degree in radiography or related fields
- Sound technical knowledge in the use of radiology equipment, including daily upkeep and maintenance
- Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- Previous radiography experience from a reputable facility is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication
- Ability to work well within a team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT procedures
- Analyze the anatomical structure of the patient, set up equipment, and perform radiologic procedures
- Teach imaging students or appropriate hospital personnel established procedures and operation of equipment, in accordance with the guidelines and teaching objectives of the department
- Regulate the equipment used to produce and process images
- Assist in the daily operations of the radiology department
- Apply principles of patient safety during all aspects of radiographic and CT procedures, including assisting and transporting patients
- Establish and maintain good rapport and professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments, and staff of the hospital
