Immigration Assistant

Loft Immigration is a reputable and successful immigration consulting company with over 25 years team experience. We seek an experienced, ambitious, and driven Client Intake Specialist to join our dynamic team to help further our rapid growth and be a part of our clients’ immigration life-changing journeys.

We welcome individuality; we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with people and being on the phones! This chosen candidate has a strong background in sales working in a blended call center environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Exceptional phone skills and prior sales experience selling professional services.
  • Enjoys dealing with people; responds professionally with patience hence, helping clients feel comfortable and confident in our services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • Administrative experience in an office setting
  • Strong typing and computer skills; able to quickly learn how to use various immigration and office systems
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively & self-motivate.
  • Collaborative with an ability to work within a team.
  • Strategic time management skills – the capacity to prioritize and assess the urgency of tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Lead Consultant in processing applications
  • Researching the processes and requirements for different types of applications
  • Preparing the application forms working closely with the clients
  • Files and monitors applications with appropriate agencies;
  • Providing assistance in the client in-take process and respond to both basic and complex client inquiries by e-mail and/or telephone to ensure that applications are processed and any obstacles are anticipated and dealt with.
  • Performing various administrative duties including, among other duties organizing and managing files including tracking dates, doing spreadsheets, photocopying submission packages.
  • Participate in process optimization
  • Finalize documents after review
  • Ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with clients to gather required information

Job Types:

  • Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shift

Salary:

  • $40,000 – $50,000 (CAD) per year (see benefits below)
