Due to the increased workload in the structural subject, we must increase and strengthen our capacity and competence for our customers at Tananger. We are now looking for a design engineer with long experience in E3D / PDMS design and good knowledge to take on the challenge and find good solutions.

• Scheduled start date: As soon as possible
• Place of work: Tananger.
• Application deadline as soon as possible – applications are processed continuously

Qualifications 

• Technical, bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Experience can be compensated for a lack of formal education.
• Additional trade certificates are an advantage.
• Job description / Tasks:
• Contribute to CTR activities/offers, both installation, and project-related studies
• Discipline and field technique
• Supplier follow-up
• Field connection technique
• Work packages
• Installation follow-up, red surcharge documentation, final documentation
• Offshore surveys, installation follow-up, or yard stays can be actual
• Coordination and collaboration with rig crew and ongoing installation work
• Contribute to project (s) and deliver on time- and budget-assigned work tasks
• Report costs, progress, and deviations to the technical manager/package engineer or project managers

Experience/knowledge 

• 2D design experience (Microstation and/or Autocad)
• 3D Designer Experience (E3D / PDMS / Inventor)
• Good theoretical understanding of statics and steel structures
• Practical knowledge of fabrication of steel structures
• Petroleum industry standards, rules, and regulations such as Norsok, DNVGL, and Eurocode
