Job Description
- Greet customers and seat them according to their preferences and presents them with the menu.
- Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
- Provide excellent customer services that promote satisfaction.
- Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
- Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.
- Follow all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
- Clean and polish cutleries, crockery, menus and handle filling of sugar sachet holders, condiment bottles, serviette holders, and toothpick holders.
- Keep the side station stocked up with fresh plates, cutlery, tablecloths, runners, napkins, toothpicks, and condiment bottles and jars
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, service trays, food covers, room service trays, and counters
- Deliver checks and collect payments.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable and able to work cohesively with colleagues.
- A minimum of a high school or equivalent education degree is required as three years of experience as a waiter in the hotel industry.
