Job Description
Do you want to be a part of taking wood to new heights? So do we, join us. We are looking to recruit a Director Supply Chain Northern Europe to cover for maternity leave until the end of.
With a strong focus on the Sales & Operations Planning and the Order Fulfillment process, your challenge will be to meet the customer needs together with securing an optimized product portfolio for the mills in the region you are responsible for.

- relevant commercial or technical education.
- a minimum of 5 to 8 years in the supply chain
- a proven track record as a people manager in coaching, developing, motivating, inspiring, and engaging a team.
- a solid customer service attitude combined with a focus on profitability & cost-efficiency.
- a result-oriented attitude and an ability to set targets & deadlines for the team
- an ability to analyze supply chain & financial figures
- excellent communication skills and fluent in English and Finnish or Swedish.
- And, ideally, you have insights about our customer’s industry and our Stora Enso’s products.
Key roles of the Job
- plan and execute Sales & Operations Planning according to operative targets agreed upon together with Heads of Production and Head of Business Lines.
- profitability analysis and action planning accordingly
- Target setting for raw material quality, volume, and length requirements in cooperation with Wood Procurement, Mill Director, and Business lines
- Ensure customer-driven production planning with a reliable delivery performance to increase competitiveness and align to customer expectations
- Profitable, reliable, and cost-to-serve efficient supply chain
- Finished goods stock & product portfolio optimization
- Estimation process for net mill price, invoicing volume and finished good stocks
- Lead and develop the SC organization in the region together with the Manager’s Supply Chain
- Ensure the claim process quality
- Facilitated sawing pattern benchmark between the regions and mills
- Change agent in the implementation of new processes or tools
The position reports to Edi Reutner, SVP of Supply Chain, and Customer Service. You can be home based in Sweden or Finland and/or located at one of our sawmill or office locations in Sweden or Finland.
