You’ll make sure that Sarah gets to her university lectures on time. You’ll say hello to James on his way to the hospital to see his new baby boy. You’ll help Vikram get to his first day at his new job.

And you thought being a bus driver was all about driving!

We’re relying on you to give the customer a fantastic journey to remember with your focus on all things customer service. You’ll need to operate the bus safely of course, but we’ll teach you all of that for free in our in-house training school.

• We’ll pay for all of your training – as a trainee driver you will earn £10 whilst in training on completion of training £11 and after 12 months £12 per hour plus optional overtime.  and no matter at what stage you are in your career, you’ll join our industry trail-blazing bus driver apprentice scheme, where we’ll teach you how to drive a bus. We’ll pass on our expertise so you drive it with as much ease and care as you do your everyday car, and not only will you become a qualified bus driver, but you’ll also gain a recognized national qualification in Passenger Transport.
• A great regular income – paid weekly so it’s never too long between paycheques (not that we pay by cheque – straight into your account every Friday!)
• Flexibility – we’ve got different shifts available so you can fit work around your existing commitments.
• Free travel – for you and your companion on our buses. That means on your days off (of which there are plenty!) you can be off shopping without worrying about parking the car, or heading off for a day in the city without paying a fortune for petrol!
• A brilliant working environment – you’re not stuck at a desk, and your boss isn’t standing over you. You’re out and about, trusted to look after our customers and enjoy yourself at the same time. It’s just like being your own boss in fact!
• Promotions – want to start by driving a bus but want to fly up the ladder? Great! We’ve got plenty of colleagues who started life as a driver but are now Inspectors, Trainers, and Managers within our business. Likewise, if you want to focus your career on driving a bus then that’s absolutely fine by us.

 There are only two things we need:

You’ll need to hold a driving license with no more than 6 penalty points on it. It will need to be clean if you have held your license for less than two years.

And you’ll want to deliver a great experience for our customers.
